Kalamaja is a very special part of town - it has lots of pedestrian roads, great wooden architecture and generally calmer environment.

Here are some of the best activities to do with kids.
Top playground lies in old Kalamaja kalmistupark- about 700 meters from our shop. Attractions for kids in different ages- from swings and slides to running rotunder, climbing nests. Old heritage trees in the park offer shade. The park itself is also nice to walk around or practice biking.
There are many more smaller playgrounds nearby as well- one on Vana-Kalamaja street, one behind Kalamaja Sauna. One larger one next to Sea Plane harbor museum.
The museum itself has been nominated as best one in Estonia for several years and there is a good reason for it. Great to spend time there with smaller and bigger kids as its huge space offers choice of activites inside and outside the museum.
Another cute smaller museum to visit is the Kalamaja museum- shows the everyday life of the part of town. Time will fly in the kids corner with vintage kitchen, doll house, etc.
Hands down our favorite place to grab a bite with kids is right next to our shop- Kalamaja pagarikoda. This bakery has the best choice of sweet and salty buns, great coffee and off course a nice play corner with books and toys.
Around another corner from our store is a tiny toy store- Pinwheel shop. It offers high quality and unique toys, cards, coffee.
